Wells Fargo's series P preferreds admitted to begin trading on NYSE

Minneapolis, March 25 - The depositary shares of Wells Fargo & Co.'s series P noncumulative perpetual class A preferred stock have been admitted to trading on the New York Stock Exchange, according to a notice.

The preferreds trade under the symbol "WFC PR P."

Each preferred will be issued as a depositary share representing a 1/1,000th interest.

The company priced an upsized $575 million of the preferreds on March 15.

As previously reported, Wells Fargo Securities LLC is the bookrunner.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

Wells Fargo is a San Francisco-based financial institution.
