By Susanna Moon

Chicago, Dec. 10 - Wells Fargo & Co. plans to price 0% access securities due Dec. 22, 2016 linked to the SPDR S&P 500 ETF trust, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

A knock-in event will occur if the fund closes below the threshold level, which will be 60% to 63% of the initial level, on any trading day during the life of the notes. The exact knock-in level will be set at pricing.

The payout at maturity will be par unless a knock-in event occurs, in which case investors will be fully exposed to any losses.

Wells Fargo Securities, LLC is the agent.

The notes will price on Dec. 19 and settle on Dec. 24.

The Cusip number is 94986RSJ1.
