Wells Fargo plans enhanced growth notes iShares MSCI Emerging Markets

Chicago, June 18 - Wells Fargo & Co. plans to price 0% enhanced growth securities due July 2015 based on the performance of the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets index fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.25 times any fund gain, up to a maximum return of $2,000 to $2,400 per $1,000 principal amount. The exact cap will be set at pricing.

Investors will receive par if the shares fall by up to 40% and will be exposed to any decline beyond 40%.

The notes will settle in June.
