Wells Fargo plans enhanced growth securities on iShares MSCI EM fund

Madison, Wis., Dec. 1 - Wells Fargo & Co. plans to price 0% enhanced growth securities due July 2014 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets index fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.5 times any fund gain, subject to a maximum return of 35% to 40% that will be set at pricing.

Investors will receive par if the fund falls by 15% or less and will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond 15%.

The notes (Cusip: 94986RBV2) will settle in January.
