New Issue: Wells Fargo sells $10.53 million enhanced participation notes linked to S&P 500

Chicago, July 2 - Wells Fargo & Co. priced $10.53 million of 0% enhanced participation securities with partial principal protection due July 8, 2011 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus double any gain in the index, up to a maximum payment of $310 per $1,000 note.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 10% and will be exposed to losses beyond 10%.

Wells Fargo Securities, LLC is the underwriter.
