Wells Fargo expected to price trust preferred securities Wednesday

Omaha, March 4 - Wells Fargo Capital XII plans to price an issue of enhanced trust preferred securities Wednesday, a source close to the deal said.

The securities will be priced at $25 each.

Bookrunners are Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Inc. and Morgan Stanley & Co. Inc.

Co-managers are Wells Fargo Securities, UBS Investment Bank, Wachovia Capital Securities LLC, Banc of America Securities LLC, RBC Capital Markets, Bear Stearns & Co. Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities Inc., Lehman Brothers Inc. and Raymond James.

The funding branch of Wells Fargo & Co. is based in San Francisco.
