By Laura Lutz

Des Moines, March 12 - Wells Fargo & Co. plans to price 0% participation securities with partial principal protection due April 2013 linked to the S&P Global Infrastructure index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the final index level is at least the initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus any index gain multiplied by a participation rate of between 105% and 115%. The exact participation rate will be set at pricing.

If the index declines by up to 15%, the payout will be par. Investors will lose 1% for each 1% that the index declines beyond 15%.

Wells Fargo Securities, LLC will be the underwriter.
