Webster Financial to offer fixed-rate notes via three bookrunners

Knoxville, Tenn., March 20 – Webster Financial Corp. intends to sell senior notes, according to a 424B3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes feature a make-whole call and then a par call.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Sandler O’Neill + Partners, LP and BofA Merrill Lynch are the joint bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including debt refinancing, reduction or repayment.

Webster Financial is a Waterbury, Conn.-based bank holding company.
