Blum reduces ownership of Websense stock to less than 5%

Charlotte, N.C., Oct. 3 - Investors led by Blum Capital Partners, LP sold 1,042,349 shares of Websense, Inc.'s common stock between Sept. 28 and Oct. 2 priced from $19.80 to $20.23 per share, according to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Blum Capital and its affiliates beneficially own 1,989,698 shares, or 4.4%, of the San Diego web filtering solutions company.

On March 19, Blum and its affiliates reported the purchase of 1,916,769 shares of the company's common stock between Feb. 13 and March 16 priced from $21.38 to $22.86 per share, for a 6.6% stake in Websense, a previous SEC filing stated.
