RBC to price 7.65%-10.15% trigger yield notes linked to Weatherford

Chicago, Feb. 1 - Royal Bank of Canada plans to price 7.65% to 10.15% trigger yield optimization notes due Feb. 8, 2013 linked to Weatherford International Ltd. shares, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The face amount of each note will be equal to the initial price of Weatherford stock.

Interest will be payable monthly.

The payout at maturity will be par in cash unless the final price of Weatherford stock is less than 65% of the initial share price, in which case investors will receive one Weatherford share per note.

UBS Financial Services Inc. and RBC Capital Markets, LLC will be the agents.

The notes will price on Feb. 3 and settle on Feb. 8.

The Cusip number is 78010V261.
