New Issue: RBC prices $9.13 million autocallable optimization securities tied to Weatherford

New York, Nov. 16 - Royal Bank of Canada priced $9.13 million of 0% autocallable optimization securities with contingent protection due Nov. 18, 2011 linked to the common stock of Weatherford International Ltd., according to a 424B2 with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the stock closes at or above its initial price on any of 12 monthly observation dates, the notes will be called and investors will receive par of $10 plus an annualized return of 22%.

If the notes are not called and Weatherford stock finishes at or above 70% of its initial share price, the payout at maturity will be par. Otherwise, investors will receive par plus the stock return.
