New Issue: Singapore's WBL sells S$74 million 3.88% two-year notes par

Chicago, Aug. 18 - WBL Corp. Ltd. said it issued S$74 million two-year fixed-rate notes at par to yield 3.88%.

Interest is payable semiannually.

DBS Bank Ltd. is the bookrunner.

Proceeds will be used for working capital.

The notes were issued under the S$200 million multi-currency medium-term note program established on June 16, 2003.

WBL is a Singapore-based investment holding company.
