New Issue: Treasury auctions $5.79 million Waukesha Bankshares TARP preferreds

Phoenix, Jan. 30 - The U.S. Department of the Treasury sold at auction $5.79 million of Waukesha Bankshares Inc.'s $1,000-par series A and B fixed-rate cumulative preferred stock issued under the Troubled Asset Relief Program.
The modified Dutch auction began Monday and ended Tuesday.
A total of 5,625 shares of the series A preferreds were priced at $926.90 per share and 169 shares of the series Bs were priced at $991.21 per share.
Total proceeds came to $5.38 million.
The Treasury will receive all proceeds.
Waukesha Bankshares is a Waukesha, Wis.-based financial institution.
