Waste Services shareholder Prides Capital drops ownership to 4.85%

Charlotte, N.C., Oct. 30 - Investors led by Prides Capital Partners, LLC sold 450,000 shares of Waste Services, Inc. on Thursday for $6.10 each, according to a schedule 13D/A filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Friday.

Between Aug. 27 and Oct. 10, Prides Capital sold 1,193,049 shares priced from $4.50 to $5.13 each, a prior SEC filing said.

The investors beneficially own 2,241,038 shares, or 4.85%, of the Burlington, Ont.-based solid waste management services company.
