New Issue: Washoe County School District, Nev., prices $78.04 million G.O. bonds

New York, March 1 - The Washoe County School District of Nevada sold $78.04 million of series 2012 general obligation bonds, according to a pricing sheet.
The bonds (Aa2/AA/) were sold through Piper Jaffray & Co.
The sale included $71,855,000 series 2012A limited tax refunding bonds and $6,185,000 of series 2012B limited tax refunding bonds.
The 2012A bonds are due 2018 to 2026 with 3% to 5%. The 2012B bonds are due 2012 to 2017 with 2% to 3% coupons.
Proceeds will be used to finance capital improvements to schools in the district, as well as to current refund the district's series 2002, 2005 and 2007B bonds and advance refund the district's series 2003A, 2003C and 2005A bonds.
