Renown Regional Medical may price refunding bond issue in next 90 days

By Susanna Moon

Chicago, April 17 – Renown Regional Medical Center said it may price a refunding bond issue within the next 90 days.

The company will use the proceeds to refund all or some of:

• The Washoe County, Nev., Hospital Revenue Bonds (Washoe Medical Center, Inc. project) series 2001A; and

• The City of Reno, Nev., Hospital Revenue Bonds (Renown Regional Medical Center project) series 2007A.

Any series 2001 bonds that are refunded would be refunded on a current basis.

Proceeds from the sale of bonds to be issued would provide funding to refund the 2001 bonds and to purchase securities deposited in the escrow for the refunded 2007 bonds.

Renown Regional Medical Center is a hospital in Reno, Nev.
