Whitworth University, Wash., to bring $64.27 million in revenue bonds

New York, Oct. 14 - The Washington Higher Education Authority is expected to sell $64.265 million in series 2009 revenue and refunding revenue bonds for Whitworth University, according to a preliminary official statement.

The bonds (Baa1) will be sold through senior manager Piper Jaffray & Co.

The bonds are due 2010 to 2019 with term bonds due 2024, 2029 and 2040.

Proceeds will be used to fund improvements at the university, as well as to refund existing debt.

Whitworth University is located in Spokane, Wash.
