New Issue: Washington Gas Light prices $75 million 5% 30-year bonds at 99.87

Virginia Beach, Dec. 3 - Washington Gas Light Co. priced $75 million of 5% notes, series J, (//AA-) at 99.87, according to a 424B5 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Proceeds from the sale of these notes will be used to retire short-term debt and for general corporate purposes such as the acquisition of property and working capital requirements.

The natural gas company is based in Washington, D.C.
