Washington offers $161.61 million of certificates of participation

Tupelo, Miss., Oct. 5 –The State of Washington intends to sell $161.61 million of certificates of participation, according to a preliminary official statement.

The series 2015C certificates (Aa2) are due 2016 through 2038.

The issue will be offered via a competitive sale on Tuesday.

Public Financial Management, Inc. is the financial adviser.

Proceeds from the deal will be used to finance or refinance the costs to acquire and construct property for the Columbia Basin College, Department of Revenue, Department of Corrections, Adams County, Clover Park Technical College, Department of Enterprise Services, Pierce College, Walla Walla Community College, Pend Oreille County Fire Protection District No. 3 and the Department of Enterprise Service.
