Fitch assigns Warsaw bond AAA(pol)
Fitch Ratings said it assigned the City of Warsaw's (AAA(pol)/stable) upcoming domestic bond of up to PLN 300 million an expected national long-term rating of AAA(pol).
The bonds will be issued under the city's PLN 4 billion bond program and the proceeds will be used to finance investment projects, Fitch said.
The 12-year fixed interest bond is scheduled to be issued on April 15, the agency said.
According to Fitch, the AAA(pol) rating reflects the city's diversified and wealthy local economy and strong tax base, as well as its high liquidity and healthy debt ratios.
