India's Wanbury may issue foreign-currency convertibles

Seattle, Jan. 4 - Wanbury Ltd. informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that its board of directors approved an issue of foreign-currency convertible bonds or a qualified institutional placement at a meeting on Thursday.

The Mumbai, India-based pharmaceutical company will seek shareholder approval of the issuance through a postal ballot.
