Walt Disney offers Canadian dollar-denominated seven-year notes

Knoxville, Tenn., Oct. 3 – Walt Disney Co. will sell senior notes due 2024 denominated in Canadian dollars, according to a 424B5 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes feature a make-whole call and then a par call.

HSBC Securities (Canada) Inc., RBC Dominion Securities Inc. and TD Securities Inc. are the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

Walt Disney is a Burbank, Calif.-based entertainment and media company.
