Wake County, N.C., preps $176.2 million G.O. bond sale for Jan. 24

New York, Jan. 17 - Wake County, N.C., is set to price $176,195,000 of series 2012 general obligation bonds on Jan. 24, according to a preliminary official statement.

The offering includes $96.79 million of series 2012A G.O. school bonds and $79,405,000 of series 2012B G.O. refunding bonds.

The bonds will be sold competitively with Waters & Co. LLC as the financial adviser.

The 2012A bonds are due 2013 to 2031, and the 2012B bonds are due 2018 to 2021.

Proceeds will be used to refund the county's series 2004A G.O. bonds and it series 2004B G.O. school bonds.
