Wachovia Securities hires Klenke, Cohen as managing directors in equity division

Des Moines, March 26 - Wachovia Securities announced that it has hired Kevin Klenke and Scott Cohen for its equity division.

Klenke will act as a managing director in the equities derivatives business, joining the equity structured products group.

Cohen will act as a managing director in the cash equity trading business.

Before joining Wachovia, Klenke was a managing director at UBS Securities, Bank of America and Merrill Lynch. He was most recently a managing director at Knight Equity Markets, where he managed the institutional options business.

Cohen has 28 years of experience with Prudential Securities, most recently as a managing director running listed and Nasdaq trading.

"We are excited to have them both join our team as we continue to expand our Derivatives and Cash Trading businesses," Quinten Stevens, managing director and head of the equity division, said in a news release.
