New York, April 2 - Wachovia Corp. priced a $7 million issue of 0% principal-protected notes due Oct. 5, 2008 linked to a basket of emerging market currencies, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The underlying basket includes equal weights of the Brazilian real, the Russian ruble, the Indian rupee and the Chinese renminbi, all relative to the dollar.
At maturity, investors will receive the greater of par or 160% of the basket performance. Investors will receive at least par.
