Vulcan Materials intends to sell 10-year notes via five bookrunners

Knoxville, Tenn., March 9 – Vulcan Materials Co. plans to offer senior notes (//BBB-) due 2027, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will have a make-whole call and then are callable at par.

Bookrunners are U.S. Bancorp Investments Inc., Wells Fargo Securities LLC, BofA Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs & Co. and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey Inc. FTN Financial Securities Corp., Regions Securities LLC, Synovus Securities Inc. and Williams Capital Group LP are the co-managers.

The company plans to use the proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes.

Vulcan makes construction materials and is based in Birmingham, Ala.
