Brazil's Votorantim Cimentos cancels $500 million note offering

Atlanta, Oct. 4 - Brazil's Votorantim Cimentos Ltda. has canceled plans for a $500 million issue of perpetual notes, a market source said.

Deutsche Bank, HSBC and SG CIB were the bookrunners for the deal, which has been suspended due to market conditions.

Votorantim Cimentos is a Sao Paulo-based cement manufacturer.
