S&P lifts VolgaTelecom
Standard & Poor's said it raised the long-term corporate credit rating on VolgaTelecom (OJSC) to BB from BB- and its Russia national scale rating to ruAA from ruAA-.
The outlook is stable. Ratings were removed from CreditWatch, where they were placed with developing implications on June 21.
The action reflects VolgaTelecom's strengthened financial profile and, specifically, its adequate liquidity position, S&P analyst Alexander Griaznov said in a statement.
