New Issue: Peru's Volcan Compania Minera sells $600 million 5 3/8% 10-year senior notes at par

Atlanta, Jan. 27 - Peru's Volcan Compania Minera SA priced a $600 million issue of notes due Feb. 2, 2022 (Baa3/BBB-/BBB-) at par to yield 5 3/8%, or Treasuries plus 344 basis points, a market source said.

JPMorgan and Morgan Stanley were the bookrunners for the Rule 144A and Regulation S deal, which was talked in the 5½% area.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

Volcan is a mining company based in Lima, Peru.
