Peru's Volcan launches $600 million 10-year notes to yield 5 3/8%

Atlanta, Jan. 26 - Peru's Volcan Compania Minera SA launched a $600 million offering of notes due 2022 (Baa3/BBB-/BBB-) to yield 5 3/8%, a market source said.

JPMorgan and Morgan Stanley are the bookrunners for the Rule 144A and Regulation S deal, which was originally talked in the 5½% area.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

Volcan is a mining company based in Lima, Peru.
