By Andrea Heisinger

New York, Feb. 11 - Vodafone Group plc is in the market on Monday with an offering of notes in four tranches, an informed source said.

The notes (A3/A-/A-) will be sold in tranches due 2016, 2018, 2023 and 2043, the source said.

Barclays, HSBC Securities (USA) Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC and Mitsubishi UFJ Securities (USA) Inc. are the bookrunners.

London-based telecommunications company Vodafone was last in the U.S. bond market with a $2 billion trade in two tranches on Sept. 19, 2012. That sale included a 1.25% five-year note priced at 62.5 basis points over Treasuries and a 2.5% 10-year note sold at 87.5 bps over Treasuries.
