VMware offers two-part fixed-rate senior notes via three bookrunners

Knoxville, Tenn., April 2 – VMware, Inc. intends to price a two-part offering of fixed-rate senior notes, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes feature make-whole calls and then par calls.

BofA Securities, Inc., Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC are the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used to redeem $1.25 billion of 2.3% senior notes due August 2020 and for general corporate purposes.

VMware is a Palo Alto, Calif., virtualization solutions provider.
