S&P affirms Vivendi

S&P said it affirmed its BBB/A-2 long- and short-term corporate credit ratings on Vivendi SA.

The affirmation primarily reflects S&P’s view that the group has reached the end of its transformation, having redeployed its capital on significant shareholder returns, acquisitions, and restructuring over the past two years.

“We believe this has resulted in sustained improvement in performance and profitability, as well as stabilization of the group's credit metrics,” S&P said in a news release.
