S&P revises Vivendi to stable

Standard & Poor's said it revised its outlook on Vivendi SA to stable from positive and affirmed its BBB long-term and A-2 short-term corporate credit ratings.

The agency also affirmed its BBB issue rating on Vivendi's senior unsecured debt.

S&P said the outlook revision reflects its understanding that Vivendi is continuing its transformation and will redeploy its excess cash over the next two years. The agency anticipates that the group's credit metrics will remain compatible with a BBB rating, in line with the group's financial policy.
