Fitch affirms Vivendi

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed Vivendi SA's long-term issuer default rating and senior unsecured rating at BBB respectively.

The outlook is stable.

While not immune from recessionary forces, all of Vivendi's businesses are holding up remarkably well in the current environment, Fitch said.

Consumers seem reluctant to give up some of the more cost-effective forms of entertainment, including pay-TV and video games, the agency said.
