Virtus Investment registers the Virtus Emerging Markets Debt Fund

Minneapolis, June 13 - Virtus Investment Partners, Inc. will introduce the Virtus Emerging Markets Debt Fund, according to a press release.

The company expects to introduce the fund later this year.

The fund will be managed by the Multi-Sector Fixed Income Strategies team at Newfleet Asset Management, LLC, which has invested in emerging markets as part of its multi-sector strategies. The fund will invest in a diversified portfolio of emerging market debt, including sovereign, quasi-sovereign and corporate bonds.

Virtus is a Hartford, Conn.-based company that provides investment management products and services.
