Virginia Electric to issue senior notes due 2029 via two bookrunners

Knoxville, Tenn., July 8 – Virginia Electric and Power Co. expects to price fixed-rate 2019 series A senior notes due 2029, according to a 424B5 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes feature a make-whole call until April 15, 2029 and then a par call.

BofA Merrill Lynch and Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. are the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes and to repay short-term debt.

The electric utility is based in Richmond, Va.
