New York, April 7 - ViRexx Medical Corp. said it has concluded its previously announced private placement for C$960,000.
The company sold 800,000 units at C$1.20 each.
The units consist of one share and one warrant. The warrants are exercisable at C$1.75 each for two years.
The non-brokered deal priced March 3 as a C$2 million offering of up to 1,666,666 units.
Proceeds will be used for product development, working capital and general corporate purposes.
Based in Edmonton, Alta., ViRexx develops treatments for cancers and hepatitis B and C.
