New Issue: India’s Vijaya Bank issues Rs. 5 billion of 11¼% tier I bonds

Columbus, Ohio, March 30 – Vijaya Bank issued Rs. 5 billion in Basel III compliant series III tier I bonds at a coupon rate of 11¼%, according to a filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The bank issued the bonds Wednesday by private placement with M/s. Rural Electrification Corp. Ltd.

Vijaya Bank is a Bengaluru, India-based savings and loan, personal banking company.
