Vijay Textiles may issue up to $45 million of convertibles

New York, Sept. 28 - Vijay Textiles Ltd. said its shareholders approved the issuance of up to $45 million of convertible bonds, stock, preferential shares or other securities convertible into or linked to its equity.

The decision was taken at the company's annual general meeting on Tuesday.

Vijay Textiles makes furnishings and fabrics and is based in Hyderabad, India.
