Moody’s changes Vietnam International Bank to positive

Moody's Investors Service said it affirmed the B2 long-term and Not-Prime short-term bank deposit and issuer ratings of Vietnam International Bank, as well as the b3 baseline credit assessment.

The outlook on the long-term bank deposit and issuer ratings was changed to positive from stable.

Moody’s said the outlook change was driven by improvements in the bank's B3 standalone credit profile. Specifically, the bank's asset quality metrics have improved, and it has demonstrated a conservative growth appetite and prudent capitalization strategy, the agency noted.
