Vietnam accepts no bids in VND 2 trillion bond auction

By Richard Connell

New York, Feb. 25 - The Hanoi Securities Trading Center announced that it had accepted no bids during its auction Wednesday of Vietnam government two-year bonds.

Of the total offering of VND 2 trillion, bids were received for VND 950 billion.

However, as the lowest registered yield was 8.1% and the highest 9%, none of the bids were accepted.

The bonds were due to mature on Feb. 27, 2011.
