Videotron amends loan, increasing size, extending maturity

New York, April 8 - Videotron Ltd. amended its senior secured credit facility, increasing the size to $575 million and extending the maturity to April 2012, according to a news release.

The amendment also provides for a $75 million accordion feature.

In addition, the company plans to repay drawings under its credit facility using proceeds from a recently priced $455 million senior notes offering.

Videotron is a Montreal-based cable operator.
