Viacom to redeem all of its 6.85% senior notes due 2055 on Jan. 9

Minneapolis, Dec. 7 - Viacom Inc. called for redemption all of its 6.85% senior notes due Dec. 15, 2055, according to a press release.

The $750 million of bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on Jan. 9.

The Bank of New York Mellon is the trustee.

Viacom is a New York City-based media company.
