VF registers automatic shelf to sell debt securities, preferred stock

Chicago, July 21 - VF Corp. filed an automatic shelf registration to sell debt and other securities in an S-3ASR filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Covered by the shelf are debt securities, common stock, preferred stock, warrants, purchase contracts and units.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

VF, based in Greensboro, N.C., manufactures and markets branded apparel and related products.
