Turkey's Vestel Electronics repurchases $67.24 million 8¾% notes

Sept. 16 - Vestel Elektronik Sanayi ve Ticaret AS subsidiary Vestel Electronics Finance Ltd. repurchased $67,238,000 of its 8¾% senior notes due May 9, 2012, according to a company filing with the London Stock Exchange.

Vestel repurchased $47,238,000 of the notes on Sept. 5 and $20 million of the notes on Sept. 12.

Following the repurchases, the remaining balance of the notes is $154,612,000.

The company is a consumer electronics and household appliance manufacturer based in Manisa, Turkey.
