Verizon Communications offers dollar-denominated fixed-rate notes

Tupelo, Miss., Feb. 6 – Verizon Communications Inc. (Baa1/BBB+/A-) plans to price a dollar-denominated offering of fixed-rate notes, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Thursday.

Deutsche Bank AG, Taipei Branch, Morgan Stanley Taiwan Ltd. and BNP Paribas Securities Corp., Taipei Branch are the bookrunners.

Proceeds from the offering will be used for general corporate purposes.

Verizon is a New York City-based telecommunications company.
