Verizon Communications details structure of planned green notes

Knoxville, Tenn., Feb. 5 – Verizon Communications Inc. (Baa1/BBB+/A-) is planning to offer dollar-denominated fixed-rate green notes, according to a 424B5 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes feature a make-whole call and then a par call.
BofA Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC are the bookrunners.
As previously reported, the company had been scheduled to hold fixed-income investor calls on Monday for the offering.
Proceeds will be used for eligible green investments.
Verizon is a New York City-based telecommunications company.
