Verizon announces fixed-rate notes, to be listed on Taipei Exchange

Knoxville, Tenn., Jan. 25 – Verizon Communications Inc. is planning to offer fixed-rate notes, according to a 424B5 filed Wednesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be listed on the Taipei Exchange.

Beginning in February 2020, the notes are redeemable, in whole but not in part, each February at par plus interest to the redemption date.

BNP Paribas Securities Corp., Taipei Branch, and Deutsche Bank AG, Taipei Branch, are the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

Verizon is a New York City-based telecommunications company.
