Verizon's 5.9% $25-par 40-year notes to begin trading on NYSE

Phoenix, Feb. 24 - Verizon Communications Inc.'s $500 million of 5.9% $25-par notes due 2054 are expected to list on the New York Stock Exchange on Wednesday, according to a market source.

The deal priced Jan. 30. The expected symbol is "VZA."

BofA Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC and Wells Fargo Securities LLC were the bookrunners for the Securities and Exchange Commission-registered deal.

The issuer is a New York City-based telecommunications company.
